Business Analyst – Avaloq (Wealth Management & Investment Banking)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Wealth Management and Investment Banking team. You will act as a product owner for Avaloq‑based projects, driving digital transformation and ensuring high‑quality delivery across multiple business areas.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of Location Strategy projects, meeting plan, budget, quality and governance standards.
• Gather, document and model business, functional and non‑functional requirements end‑to‑end.
• Prepare and deliver project artefacts in line with standards and timelines.
• Provide functional support to testing teams, review test scenarios, coordinate UAT and regression testing, and ensure timely sign‑off.
• Quickly learn Avaloq and related core‑banking applications, as well as the wealth management and investment banking domains.
• Analyze metrics, suggest operational improvements and build proposal evaluations in a cross‑functional environment.
• Maintain working knowledge of banking products and modules such as securities trading, order management, settlement, corporate actions, credit and payments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in wealth management or investment banking.
• Proven ability to take ownership, coordinate stakeholders and facilitate requirements gathering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
• Ability to quickly acquire domain expertise and challenge business requirements.
