BOP Engineer

About the role

The BOP Engineer will be responsible for the design and engineering of Balance of Plant (BOP) systems across power, hydrocarbon and steel facilities. The role involves delivering calculations, process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment specifications and vendor drawing packages for various plant subsystems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop BOP systems such as compressed air, cooling water, fuel oil and water‑treatment plant (WTP) installations.
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support system sizing and performance.
• Create and review P&IDs, equipment specifications and package documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate vendor drawing packages for procurement and construction.

Required profile

• Experience working in engineering design companies on BOP projects for power, hydrocarbon or steel plants.
• Proven ability to conduct basic calculations and produce detailed engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with industry standards for compressed air, cooling water, fuel oil and WTP systems.
