BIM Technician – Architecture

About the role

WSP India is seeking a BIM Technician specialized in architecture to support a variety of detailed design projects. The role involves creating and maintaining high‑quality BIM models, ensuring they meet project standards and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and perform BIM modelling for the architectural discipline under the guidance of the BIM Coordinator/Manager.
• Maintain model and drawing accuracy according to BIM standards and project workflow checklists.
• Synchronise and clean up models daily on the cloud collaboration platform.
• Deliver production outputs on schedule and report progress to the BIM Lead.
• Record exported information in the correct directories and implement quality control procedures.
• Participate in SHEQ activities within the scope of duties.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on design and model changes.
• Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and content standards.
• Develop discipline‑specific model content when required.
• Publish drawing sets for team review and prepare models for coordination meetings.
• Export NWC, IFC, and other formats for internal and external collaboration.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in BIM modelling for architecture.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Successful completion of a background verification check.

• Advanced Autodesk Revit Architecture knowledge.
• Proficient Revit Structure knowledge.
• Navisworks.
• Scheduling.
• Revit drawing delivery.
• LOD 400 modelling.
• Common Data Environment (CDE) experience.
