Bilingual French-English Accountant – Remote Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a bilingual French‑English accountant to work remotely for a Canadian accounting firm. The position is a fixed night‑shift (9:30 PM – 6:00 AM IST) and offers immediate start for candidates located in India.

Key responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and reconciliations using Excel and QuickBooks Online
• Support GST/HST/PST, payroll taxes and corporate tax filings
• Prepare financial statement working papers
• Process payroll and manage client onboarding
• Communicate professionally with clients via email and phone in both English and French

Required profile

• 2–4 years of accounting experience (Canadian firm experience preferred)
• Fluent in written and spoken French and English – mandatory
• CA Inter candidates or those who have completed articleship are welcome
• Prior full night‑shift work experience in India is a strong plus
• Own a laptop/desktop with reliable high‑speed internet

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (preferred)
• Excel and MS Office (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
• Strong written and spoken communication in English and French
• Comfortable with Canadian, American and French‑Canadian accents
