Bid & Project Engineer – Marine, Offshore & Naval Skid Systems

About the role

Join Alfa Laval’s PES team as a Bid & Project Engineer focusing on marine, offshore and naval skid‑mounted systems. You will manage the full project lifecycle from RFQ through delivery, ensuring technical solutions meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Study customer RFQs, specifications and technical requirements.
• Develop system configurations, preliminary P&IDs and equipment selections.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, compliance statements and utility requirements.
• Support project costing, identify technical risks and scope gaps.
• Lead or support inspections, functional testing and FAT with customers and classification societies.
• Manage customer comments, technical changes and as‑built documentation.
• Provide technical input to designers and verify drawings for manufacturability.

Required profile

• 8–10 years experience in engineered skids or package systems.
• Hands‑on experience in both bid engineering and project execution.
• Strong capability in P&ID development and interpretation.
• Practical shop‑floor, manufacturing and FAT experience.
• Ability to work independently and resolve technical problems.
