About the role
The Batching Plant Operator is responsible for planning and organizing plant resources to achieve high productivity and optimal utilization while maintaining operational excellence, safety, and statutory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and schedule resources to maximise plant capacity and efficiency.
- Monitor production processes to ensure high output and quality of ready‑mix concrete.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Control costs and drive profitability through efficient plant operations.
- Coordinate with plant staff to meet key performance indicators and KRAs.
Required profile
- Proven experience operating or supervising a concrete batching plant.
- Strong understanding of the RMC (Ready‑Mix Concrete) industry and its competitive environment.
- Ability to manage resources, meet production targets and maintain compliance.
- Focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
