Barista (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Barista position is based in the Pune Division at The Loma Cafe & Kitchen. You will prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and light food items while ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and friendly service for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso‑based drinks, tea, and light food according to company recipes.
• Greet guests, take orders, and explain menu items clearly.
• Operate coffee machines and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow food‑safety and hygiene standards.
• Handle cash and digital payments accurately.
• Restock supplies and manage inventory as needed.
• Support teammates during busy periods and contribute to a friendly café atmosphere.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Clear communication ability for taking orders and coordinating with staff.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and maintain a professional, customer‑oriented attitude.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a café or hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Basic coffee preparation knowledge.
