Azure Data Engineer

About the role

The Azure Data Engineer will join the Azure Data Platform team as an individual contributor. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Azure, ensuring data is well‑structured, accessible, and efficiently stored for business use.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable data solutions using Azure Data Services.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake, Synapse, and other repositories.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data pipelines.
• Design, document, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Apply normalization techniques, ensure data integrity, and address performance issues.
• Document pipelines for data owners, stewards, and support teams.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Azure data engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and advanced SQL.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Self‑starter attitude with a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
