Associate Teacher - Art

About the role

A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The Associate Teacher – Art will deliver art lessons, mentor students and support school projects in a vibrant, low‑income community setting.

Key responsibilities

• Teach one or two art subjects to a class, conduct regular tests, provide feedback and foster a joyful learning environment.
• Collaborate with parents through meetings to keep them engaged in their child’s progress.
• Mentor 15‑20 students throughout the year, helping them develop strong study habits, high attendance and a drive to excel.
• Work with senior teachers to organise hobby clubs, career awareness events, annual day, sports day and other school projects, building leadership skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
• Art Teacher Diploma (ATD), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or equivalent preferred.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience in a school setting preferred.
