Program Officer – NGO Development & Disability Inclusion

About the role

The Program Officer will serve as the primary liaison between CBM India partners and internal project teams, ensuring smooth coordination and communication across programmes. This role focuses on building partner capacity, managing data, and supporting inclusive development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations to identify strengths, needs and potential collaborations.
• Coordinate project activities, act as first point of contact for programmes, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
• Organise training and capacity‑building sessions for partners in line with line‑manager guidance.
• Manage partner and project data in compliance with data‑protection rules and organisational documentation procedures.
• Support fundraising efforts by preparing proposals, donor reports and campaign materials.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in social work, development studies, rehabilitation science or related field; diploma in disability management, public health, development policy or statistics is a plus.
• 4‑6 years of experience in the social development sector, including 2‑3 years in disability‑focused international or multilateral agencies.
• Proven experience in partnership management, proposal development and coordination of multi‑year programmes.
