Associate SOC – SIEM Cyber (Emerging Tech Advisory)

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate in the Security Operations Center (SOC) focusing on SIEM and cyber security within the Emerging Technology Advisory team in Bangalore. The role supports clients by assessing and improving their information security governance, risk and compliance posture.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external risk assessments of IT and OT processes using frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and TISAX.
• Review and recommend actions to enhance IT governance maturity.
• Ensure compliance with organisational information security policies and procedures.
• Perform regular checks, key risk indicator (KRI) monitoring and manage security‑related non‑conformities.
• Support external audits by preparing documentation and coordinating audit activities.
• Monitor security tools and generate reports on security performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) roles.
• Strong understanding of information security principles, controls and risk management methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST and TISAX frameworks.
• Ability to conduct assessments, document findings and work with audit teams.
