Associate SOC Cyber Advisory (Gurgaon)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate in SOC Cyber Advisory to join its Cybersecurity and Privacy services team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on protecting client organisations from cyber threats through continuous monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Round‑the‑clock threat monitoring and detection.
• Analyse suspicious, malicious, or abnormal behaviour.
• Perform alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, and determine severity and urgency.
• Prioritise security alerts and create incidents according to SOPs.
• Report and escalate incidents to stakeholders.
• Support vulnerability management and threat‑intelligence activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years (L1) or 4 years (L2) of relevant experience in SOC, incident management, incident response, threat detection engineering, vulnerability management, SOC platform management, automation, asset integration, threat‑intelligence management or threat hunting.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 monitoring environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize security events.
