Associate Relationship Manager – Joint Liability Groups

About the role

The Associate Relationship Manager – JLG supports the Relationship Manager in deepening banking relationships, acquiring new customers, and managing Joint Liability Groups (JLGs) from formation through disbursal and collection. The role focuses on delivering best‑in‑class service to households in rural areas while driving loan bookings and cross‑sell opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Map household needs in assigned villages and conduct zoning activities.
• Perform end‑user checks after loan disbursal and meet monthly/annual group loan booking targets.
• Identify client needs, generate revenue through cross‑selling, and open new accounts.
• Achieve individual and branch sales goals through new business, referrals, and retention.
• Maintain high collection efficiency and ensure accurate loan documentation.
• Coordinate with operations for timely data entry and compliance with bank requirements.
• Conduct field audits, customer verifications, and gather market intelligence.
• Recommend process improvements and support livelihood and community development initiatives.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• 0‑2 years of relevant branch banking experience.
• Ability to assess client needs, generate revenue, and manage JLGs.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, compliance, and collection processes.
