Associate Project Manager

Deccan AI, a fast‑growing GenAI data company, is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead client initiatives from inception to delivery. The role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys coordinating cross‑functional teams to solve operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Drive end‑to‑end execution of 0‑to‑1 client projects, defining scope, timelines, milestones and success metrics.
• Monitor project budgets, optimize resource utilization and coordinate staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, establishing clear ownership and accountability.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, communicating updates, risks and decisions.
• Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans and resolve blockers, escalating critical issues when needed.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements, and drive continuous process improvements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, status reports and post‑project reviews.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience managing projects, operations or new initiatives in a startup environment.
• Proven ability to execute and scale 0‑to‑1 projects.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Effective stakeholder management and collaboration abilities.
