Associate Manager I, Enterprise Platforms

About the role

Invesco’s Enterprise Platforms team builds internal developer platforms that accelerate solution delivery and drive business growth. As an Associate Manager I you will lead a group of engineers, shape platform strategy and improve CI/CD pipelines while ensuring a secure, scalable environment for developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise‑grade services using Java and object‑oriented principles.
• Drive the evolution of the internal developer platform with a focus on usability, automation and self‑service.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor peers and set high standards for execution across teams.
• Influence architectural direction and platform strategy through deep expertise and collaboration.
• Own complex problems and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise goals.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices using Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle and SonarQube.
• Support and integrate platforms such as Artifactory, Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), API management tools (Anypoint, Apigee, Boomi, Kong), Power Platform and GitHub Copilot.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Proven ability to lead engineering initiatives and mentor teams.
• Strong architectural thinking and a passion for building reusable, secure solutions.
• Comfortable taking ownership of complex problems and balancing innovation with disciplined delivery.
