Associate Embedded Engineer – Digital Engineering Transformation

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate Embedded Engineer to join its Digital Engineering team in Bengaluru. You will work on connected IoT devices, developing firmware, implementing wireless protocols, and enabling over‑the‑air updates to bring hardware concepts to life.

Key responsibilities

• Develop firmware for embedded devices using C/C++ and RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, and ThreadX.
• Implement and integrate wireless protocol stacks including BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, NB‑IoT, and Wi‑Fi.
• Design low‑power embedded systems for battery‑operated industrial equipment.
• Architect and deliver OTA firmware update mechanisms.
• Perform hardware bring‑up, debugging, and system integration.
• Integrate solutions with industrial automation controllers from KUKA, FANUC, ABB, and Rockwell Automation.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded firmware development.
• Experience with real‑time operating systems and low‑power design.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.
