Associate Director - Finance Controller

About the role

The Associate Director – Finance Controller will support the statutory financial reporting function for Athene’s life insurance entities. Reporting to the Manager or Senior Manager of Statutory Financial Reporting, the role works independently while collaborating with peers and senior leaders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements for assigned entities.
• Develop and review related financial statement disclosures.
• Coordinate external reporting requirements and liaise with auditors.
• Assist in overseeing components of the reporting process across multiple life entities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in statutory reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills to interact with senior leaders and external parties.
