Associate – Buying & Merchandising

About the role

We are looking for an Associate in Buying & Merchandising to support the procurement and promotion of fashion products on Myntra’s platform. The role involves analysing market trends, managing inventory and collaborating with suppliers to ensure the right assortment reaches our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing buying plans based on market trends and consumer demand.
• Analyse sales data and forecasts to optimise inventory levels and product availability.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing and delivery schedules.
• Monitor product performance and recommend promotions or markdowns.
• Work with the merchandising team to align assortments with brand strategy and customer needs.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotions in coordination with the marketing team.
• Help prepare budgets, financial reports and inventory projections.
• Provide administrative support to the buying and merchandising team.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in buying, merchandising or related fashion retail functions.
• Undergraduate degree (UG) in a relevant field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
