Assistant/Associate Professor – MBA Program

About the role

The Silver Oak Institute of Management is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor to join its MBA program. The successful candidate will contribute to high‑quality teaching, curriculum development, and research activities within a vibrant academic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, case‑based teaching for MBA courses across specializations such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, and Business Analytics.
• Develop and regularly update course materials to reflect current industry practices.
• Mentor students on internships, projects, placements, and research initiatives.
• Participate in curriculum design, accreditation processes, and quality improvement efforts.
• Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and secure funded consultancy projects.
• Organise academic and co‑curricular events and foster industry‑academia collaborations.

Required profile

• MBA/PGDM with a specialization matching the teaching area.
• Ph.D. completed or in progress (preferred).
• NET/SET qualification desirable as per UGC norms.
• Strong academic background with excellent communication skills.
• Teaching experience in MBA/Management programs preferred; industry experience is an advantage.
• Evidence of research publications, consultancy, FDP participation, or academic administration experience is desirable.
