Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Business Manager in driving sales performance across multiple channels. This role focuses on achieving targets, maintaining high customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth post‑sale processes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets as defined by the Business Manager.
• Maintain and follow grooming standards outlined in the SOP manual.
• Adhere to enquiry management and booking processes as specified in the SOP manual.
• Handle enquiries through walk‑in, telephone, email and city distribution channels.
• Provide customers with complete product and cost details.
• Build and service relationships with city distribution channels.
• Maintain query turnaround time according to SOP guidelines.
• Initiate telesales calls for follow‑up and closure of sales bookings.
• Coordinate with the service team for post‑sale processes.
• Maintain daily sales reports.
• Keep an enquiry database for future follow‑ups and regularly send emails on new offers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction levels of at least 95 % throughout interactions.
• Follow company policies and systems.
• Prevent monetary losses by managing cancellations, liabilities and ensuring timely collections.
• Perform due diligence to minimise organisational risk exposure.
