Assistant Revenue Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Assistant Manager Revenue will support the hotel’s revenue strategy, working closely with sales, marketing and operations to maximise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR. This role combines analytical insight with hands‑on management of pricing and inventory across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimise occupancy, ADR and RevPAR.
• Manage room inventory, pricing and rate positioning across distribution channels in coordination with sales and marketing.
• Analyse market trends, competitor pricing and demand forecasts to guide pricing decisions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports for senior management.
• Coordinate front‑office, reservations and sales teams to ensure seamless revenue operations.
• Monitor group bookings, corporate rates and special packages to maximise revenue while protecting brand standards.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting for the revenue department.
• Train and mentor revenue team members on best practices and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of progressive experience in revenue management, hotel operations or hospitality management.
• Proven expertise with revenue management systems (RMS) and property management systems (PMS).
• Strong analytical, financial forecasting and data‑interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
