Assistant Professor – Finance (FinTech)

About the role

Alliance School of Business seeks an Assistant Professor – Finance (FinTech) to teach undergraduate and postgraduate finance programmes, mentor research projects, and contribute to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously enrich curriculum and deliver finance courses for UG and PG programmes.
• Guide, lead, and mentor students in research projects and theses.
• Evaluate and monitor student academic progress and career development.
• Create and implement career‑enhancement activities and industry‑linkage programmes.
• Publish research in top‑ranked international journals and present at conferences.
• Write research proposals and secure external funding.
• Organise seminars and events with industry professionals.
• Review teaching methods and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Finance or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum ten years of teaching and research experience at reputable universities.
• Proven record of publications in high‑impact journals (at least 7‑10 papers).
• Experience supervising bachelor’s and master’s theses.
• Strong interpersonal and pedagogical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain research funding.
