Assistant Manager – US Market Operations (ISPL Offshored OPC)

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support US Market Operations within the ISPL Offshored OPC team, focusing on operational risk control and governance across Global Markets Operations. This role ensures that risk assessments, control frameworks, and reporting are executed effectively to maintain a robust operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk self‑assessment, including analysis of processes, risks and controls, and develop corrective action plans.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments for new activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact and advisor to CIB Operations management and staff throughout the risk assessment cycle.
• Participate in defining and implementing permanent control plans and governance processes.
• Provide analysis and reporting on Key Risk Indicators and control results.
• Contribute to methodology standards, tools, and support their implementation across Operations lines.
• Deliver risk and control awareness sessions to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in operational risk assessment and control within a financial institution.
• Familiarity with Global Markets Operations and CIB Operations frameworks.
• Ability to analyse processes, identify gaps and propose remediation actions.
• Strong communication skills to advise and interact with management and staff.
