Assistant Manager – Training

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Training supports the identification and fulfillment of employee and organisational development needs. You will help ensure that effective training programs are in place to drive business results, covering product knowledge, company philosophy, customer service, and leadership skills.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and administer employee training programs, ensuring ongoing learning aligned with guest expectations.
• Design, develop, and facilitate both custom and corporate training sessions after conducting needs assessments.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and participant progress; gather feedback and assess training impact.
• Partner with operational leaders to evaluate whether trainees demonstrate required technical and leadership competencies.
• Review guest satisfaction data, comment cards, and other metrics to identify improvement areas.
• Measure transfer of learning to the workplace and ensure adult‑learning principles are applied.
• Identify performance gaps, assist in budgeting, and adjust training methodologies as needed.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field + 1 year HR‑related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in the same fields with a certified trainer credential (no experience required).
• Certified trainer qualification.
