Assistant Manager – Recruitment Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead our recruitment team in Pune. The role combines hands‑on hiring with people‑management, ensuring high‑volume recruitment targets are met while maintaining quality and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive bulk hiring initiatives for sales and technical sales positions, managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Lead, coach, and monitor a team of 5‑6 recruiters to achieve delivery targets.
• Collaborate with client HR and internal stakeholders to understand hiring priorities and ensure timely closures.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment processes for mid‑ to senior‑level roles.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports, recruitment trackers, and other data‑driven insights.
• Support client HR teams in transactional recruitment activities when required.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of recruitment consulting experience, preferably in sales and technical sales hiring.
• Proven track record of managing high‑volume hiring projects within defined timelines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a recruitment team and manage client relationships.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Energetic, creative, and results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with MIS reporting and recruitment tracking tools.
• Data management and analytical skills for recruitment metrics.
