About the role

The Assistant Manager – Housekeeping (Public Area) will uphold The Ritz‑Carlton’s Gold Standards by ensuring immaculate public spaces and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This full‑time position is based at the Bengaluru property and reports to the Housekeeping Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and event spaces.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with The Ritz‑Carlton service values, Employee Promise, and Credo.
• Train, coach, and schedule housekeeping staff to achieve consistent quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service during high‑traffic periods.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping operations within luxury or upscale hotels.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
