Assistant Manager – Housekeeping (Luxury Wellness Resort)

About the role

CGH Earth Wellness is seeking an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping department of its new luxury naturopathy wellness centre in Almora, Uttarakhand. The role combines high‑end hospitality standards with the brand’s sustainability and wellness ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team as Head of Department, ensuring smooth operations across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Maintain luxury‑level cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff, fostering discipline, efficiency and guest‑centric service.
• Deliver prompt, professional housekeeping services to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of supplies, linen and equipment, controlling costs and ensuring timely procurement.
• Implement eco‑friendly practices, using natural cleaning products and reducing waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in luxury hospitality or wellness resorts.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of sustainable housekeeping methods and eco‑friendly cleaning practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory and vendor relationships.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or equivalent preferred.
