Assistant Manager – Housekeeping (Luxury Wellness Center)

About the role

CGH Earth Wellness is seeking an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to lead the housekeeping department of its new luxury naturopathy wellness centre in Uttarakhand. The role combines high‑end hospitality standards with a strong focus on sustainability and guest wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the housekeeping team as Head of Department, ensuring smooth operations across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Maintain luxury‑level cleanliness, hygiene and presentation standards throughout the property.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, fostering discipline and guest‑centric service.
• Deliver prompt, professional housekeeping services to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
• Manage inventory of linen, supplies and equipment, optimizing cost‑effective usage and timely procurement.
• Implement eco‑friendly housekeeping practices, using natural cleaning products and driving waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing housekeeping operations in luxury hospitality or wellness resorts.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Commitment to sustainable and eco‑friendly practices.
• Ability to handle budgets, inventory control and vendor relationships.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of eco‑friendly cleaning products and sustainable housekeeping methods.
