Assistant Manager Finance – Projects

About the role

Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) India is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance to support the Regional Finance Leader and Regional General Manager, Projects. The role will provide insight into financial and business performance, drive reporting, budgeting and analysis, and act as a key liaison for internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Regional General Manager and Finance Leader to drive growth for the Projects business.
• Support the creation and execution of India business strategy, including AOP (annual budget) and STRAP (multi‑year plan) formulation.
• Lead financial reporting, forecasting, FP&A, closing processes and budgeting for India operations.
• Ensure accuracy of financial results for the line of business and maintain robust internal controls.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Marketing, Sales, Factory and other functions to align financial objectives.
• Work with internal audit teams to improve project‑related processes and address statutory audit queries.
• Support the Customer‑to‑Cash cycle: order reviews, bid approvals, revenue chain analysis, trade receivables, bad‑debt tracking and cash receipts.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting and analysis for project‑oriented businesses.
• Experience with internal controls, audit coordination and statutory compliance.
• Ability to partner with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive financial strategy.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
