Assistant Manager – Corporate Banking Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will work within the Coverage Support Hub of Barclays Corporate Banking, providing operational support to UK front‑line relationship teams. The role focuses on processes such as Annual Review, KYC refresh, transaction monitoring and pricing, enabling bankers to concentrate on revenue‑generating activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day operational tasks including Annual Review, KYC refresh, pricing review and transaction monitoring.
• Produce reports, dashboards and presentations for senior stakeholders to track performance and improvement initiatives.
• Lead training and quality‑management activities, mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Identify and mitigate process risks, drive simplification, automation and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience in a multinational bank or financial services organisation handling backend operational processes.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative, team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of KYC, transaction monitoring, pricing & billing and workflow management processes.
