Valuation Senior Analyst

About the role

Barclays is seeking a Valuation Senior Analyst to lead the design and development of automated forecasting and valuation solutions for acquisition marketing investments. The role focuses on partner, channel, offer, and segment level analysis, using advanced analytics and AI to improve forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automated solutions to forecast P&L across partners, channels, offers and customer segments.
• Use SAS, SQL and Python to source, transform, analyse and validate large datasets and build scalable forecasting workflows.
• Apply statistical modelling, machine learning and advanced analytics to improve forecast accuracy and support investment decisions.
• Leverage AI agents for research, coding, documentation, testing and process automation with appropriate human oversight.
• Conduct marketing investment optimisation across USCB to enable data‑informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong experience analysing large datasets and operationalising data platforms.
• Proven ability to apply machine learning and advanced analytics to business problems.
• Demonstrated risk‑aware mindset and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Leadership or advisory experience, guiding teams or stakeholders on technical solutions.
