Assistant Manager – Construction Civil – Projects

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead civil engineering activities across the full project lifecycle, from initiation to commissioning. You will ensure projects meet schedule, quality, budget, and safety standards while supporting Adani’s commitment to sustainable development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
• Supervise site operations, enforce safety protocols, and maintain environmental compliance.
• Review and approve civil drawings, designs, and specifications in line with statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for material procurement and resource allocation.
• Implement quality assurance procedures, conduct inspections, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare cost estimates, track expenditures, and optimize resource utilization.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
• Act as liaison among project teams, clients, regulatory bodies, and internal departments.
• Mentor junior engineers and site staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with STAAD Pro.
• Knowledge of MS Project for scheduling and planning.
