Area Sales Manager – Retail (Udaipur)

About the role

ABHFL is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead its retail operations in Udaipur. The role combines strategic sales planning, branch management and customer relationship oversight to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and cascade branch sales plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, considering product, competition and local market trends.
• Monitor industry developments, conduct market scans and report emerging opportunities.
• Oversee end‑to‑end branch operations including sourcing, productivity, governance and channel management.
• Prepare and review MIS reports on disbursements, profitability, NPAs and market expansion.
• Identify and drive new customer acquisition initiatives to build a targeted book of business.
• Handle complex transactions, customer complaints and escalations, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
• Implement process improvements across the customer lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
• Promote cross‑selling of ABHFL products in line with the agreed strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience in branch sales planning and retail management.
• Ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Strong operational oversight skills covering sourcing, productivity and governance.
• Experience preparing and interpreting MIS and performance reports.
• Track record of acquiring new customers and managing key relationships.
• Capability to lead process‑efficiency initiatives and drive cross‑selling.
