Area Sales Manager – Power Tools (Aurangabad, Maharashtra)

About the role

The Area Sales Manager – Power Tools will be responsible for driving sales of Bosch’s Blue tools, MT & HG portfolio across the defined territory in Aurangabad and surrounding areas. The role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with direct dealers and sub‑dealers, expanding market reach and achieving revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and grow sales through direct dealers and sub‑dealers for power‑tool products.
• Manage dealer network, providing optimal service and systematic follow‑up visits.
• Enhance the quality of existing channel partners and support new product launches, including cordless solutions.
• Optimize turnover and gross margin through effective product‑mix management.
• Support dealers via the B2B portal and leverage digital tools to improve business results.
• Implement central marketing activities and collaborate with user and retail marketing teams.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors and trends, and identify opportunities to expand product placement in primary and secondary channels.

Required profile

• Engineer or MBA degree.
• 4–8 years of experience in trade (dealer/distributor) sales.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and distribution business.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; proficiency in the local language as required.
