Area Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for an Area Sales Executive to drive growth across Institutional and Out‑of‑Home (OOH) channels. The role will manage national chain accounts, develop business and operational plans, and ensure successful brand launches and promotions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for core chains.
• Develop and execute annual, quarterly and monthly growth and operational plans for Institutional/OOH accounts.
• Track performance, provide interventions and ensure smooth deliverables.
• Support channel development, negotiate pricing, ensure SKU/brand readiness and build pipelines for future business.
• Create and monitor annual business plans with key customers, identifying new channel opportunities.
• Execute trade‑marketing and go‑to‑market (GTM) plans for new launches, restages and priority SKUs.
• Manage TOT budgets, ensure compliance with financial and commercial processes.
• Track competition activities and report new business or activation opportunities.
• Roll out rewards, recognition initiatives and sales support energizers to boost performance.

Required profile

• MBA or postgraduate degree.
• 2 to 6 years of experience in sales, preferably with Institutional/OOH or emerging channel exposure.
• Proven ability to develop and execute business plans and achieve sales objectives.
• Strong analytical and performance‑tracking skills.
• Experience in trade marketing, channel development and budget management.
