Key Account Manager

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Services is seeking a Key Account Manager to be based in Mumbai (Andheri East). The role focuses on driving profitable sales growth, enhancing customer experience and collaborating closely with technical and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive profitable sales growth from existing and new customers within the assigned portfolio.
• Develop and execute measurable Sales Activity Plans and build a pipeline of quality opportunities.
• Maintain accurate account information in the WSS CRM and ensure compliance with global sales governance.
• Foster strong customer relationships through frequent face‑to‑face meetings and proactive contract management.
• Lead or support local marketing events and collaborate with Technical Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent marine qualification (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Solid technical background in welding processes, mechanical works, handheld power tools and marine gases.
• Experience in technical sales, preferably in an international or maritime environment.
• Proven ability to influence sales outcomes through technical expertise and commercial understanding.

• CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Analytics tools such as Power BI.
