Area Collection Manager – Unsecured (Salaried) – Jaipur

About the role

The Area Collection Manager will lead the unsecured collections function for a designated region, overseeing recovery efforts for non‑performing borrowers and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end collections process across the assigned metro or state capital and surrounding Tier‑2/3 cities.
• Engage with defaulting borrowers to devise optimal recovery solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external collections teams, monitoring their activities for policy adherence.
• Drive cost‑effective collections performance, meeting or exceeding ECL targets for Stage 1, 2 & 3.
• Hire, build, and mentor a high‑performance collection team (4‑9 members) to achieve regional P&L objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in collections or credit risk management within a financial institution, preferably an NBFC.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance related to unsecured lending.
• Track record of meeting collection cost and recovery targets.
