Architect – Varanasi

About the role

Dhiraj Kapoor & Associates, a leading architectural practice in Varanasi, is looking for a talented Architect to strengthen its creative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning client briefs into functional, aesthetically compelling built environments. Working closely with interior designers, engineers and project managers, the architect will contribute to all phases of design, from concept development through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop conceptual design proposals and detailed architectural drawings that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Produce high‑quality visualizations, renderings and presentation boards to communicate design intent.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and interior design consultants to integrate multidisciplinary inputs.
• Prepare and manage construction documents, specifications and schedules.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design compliance and resolve on‑site issues.
• Review and incorporate feedback from clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations and sustainability guidelines.
• Maintain organized project files and update documentation as design evolves.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience as an architect in a design or consultancy setting.
• Strong design sensibility with a keen eye for detail and materiality.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in fast‑paced, multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard architectural software (e.g., CAD, BIM tools).
