Architect – Marine Infrastructure Projects

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is seeking an Architect to join its Architecture group in India. The role supports marine infrastructure projects across global offices, offering the chance to deepen technical expertise while working in a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic architectural and engineering calculations.
• Prepare specifications, reports and related data tables.
• Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups.
• Prepare, review and approve drawings as required.
• Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, independently handle advanced technical assignments within approved schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities with multidisciplinary teams on assigned projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture.
• 2‑5 years of experience in architecture.
• Experience in the Middle East, US or UK is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Capability to view projects from a big‑picture, birds‑eye perspective.
