Apptio & TBM Consultant – Business Consulting

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking experienced professionals to join its Technology Business Management (TBM) practice. The role focuses on delivering IT cost transparency, financial optimization, and value realization through strategic advisory and Apptio‑led implementations. You will work closely with CIOs, CFOs, and IT leadership to drive transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory on IT cost transparency, TBM frameworks, and financial governance, translating business requirements into Apptio‑enabled solutions.
• Implement and configure Apptio Cost Transparency & IT Planning solutions, designing cost models, allocations, reporting structures, and data mappings.
• Analyze IT financial and operational data to identify cost drivers, perform data validation, reconciliation, and variance analysis.
• Engage with Finance, IT, Procurement, and Business stakeholders, presenting dashboards, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Ensure timely, high‑quality delivery of modules or workstreams, mentor junior team members, and lead large transformation programs.
• Prepare implementation documentation, executive presentations, and track KPIs related to IT spend and financial performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years (Consultant), 9+ years (Senior Consultant), or 12+ years (Principal Consultant) of experience in IT consulting, IT financial management, or Apptio/TBM implementations.
• Proven ability to lead large consulting engagements and interact with senior executives.
• Strong understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and allocation methodologies.
