Apprenticeship – Technical Services Engineer (Fleet Technical Management)

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Fleet Technical Management team in Bangalore as an Apprentice Technical Services Engineer. This 12‑month program offers fresh graduates a hands‑on experience supporting airline customers in operating Airbus aircraft safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and notifying Airbus publications such as Service Bulletins, VSBs, TFUs, AOTs and OITs.
• Support the Technical Publication Management process and documentation preparation for ARC and CMR.
• Prepare Reliability Control Program reports by consolidating, cleaning and validating data from the Maintenance Information System (MIS), aircraft service records and shop findings.
• Consolidate data for technical investigations of pilot reports, maintenance reports, recurring defects, aircraft delays and cancellations.
• Maintain aircraft model configuration data using AMASIS (kardex) or AMOS (configuration tree).
• Help prepare engine and landing‑gear change packages, oil‑consumption reports, structure‑damage summaries and dent‑buckle mappings.
• Contribute to the development of industrialised processes, methods and tools to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Avionics, Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering.
• No prior full‑time professional experience; internships and academic projects are welcome.
• Strong interest in aerospace, fleet technical management and data‑driven analysis.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Maintenance Information System (MIS).
• Basic knowledge of AMASIS and AMOS configuration tools.
