About the role

Join FAFF as an AI Engineer to build production‑grade AI agents and solve complex real‑world problem statements. The role emphasizes deep problem‑solving over surface‑level GenAI knowledge, allowing you to own end‑to‑end AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows for real‑world use cases.
• Own AI problem statements from definition through production deployment.
• Create reliable systems that combine LLMs, tools, retrieval, memory, and structured workflows.
• Experiment with different approaches to improve accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost.
• Develop evaluation and monitoring mechanisms for AI applications.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Debug failures and continuously enhance production AI systems.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or a closely related role.
• Previous experience at a product‑based company with hands‑on AI/ML system delivery.
• Proven ability to tackle ambiguous problem statements and deliver robust solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Large Language Models (LLMs) and practical production usage.
• Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Prompt engineering and model integration.
• Building AI agents, tool‑calling systems, and agentic workflows.
• Debugging and performance optimisation of AI systems.
