Application Developer – Order Management

About the role

We are seeking an Application Developer specialized in Order Management to join our Bangalore team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise‑wide order management solutions built on IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) and related technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize IBM Sterling OMS components to meet business requirements.
• Implement pipelines, agents, services, workflows, sourcing rules and order orchestration logic.
• Extend Sterling OMS functionality using Java (Java 7+) APIs and custom extensions.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle – analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment and maintenance.
• Integrate NoSQL and relational databases with OMS solutions.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and solution design for complex order processing scenarios.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of professional experience in application development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM Sterling Order Management System.
• Proven experience customizing, developing, and implementing Sterling OMS solutions.
• Familiarity with IBM Sterling Commerce / Yantra and SOA‑based architectures.
• Solid Java development skills (Java 7+) and ability to work with APIs and custom extensions.
• Experience with full SDLC and with both NoSQL and relational database technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and solution‑design capabilities.
