Android Framework Developer – AOSP & Native Expertise

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android Framework Developer to join our engineering team. You will work on core Android platform customization, performance optimization, and feature development across multiple releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Android framework features for various releases.
• Implement new platform capabilities and business‑specific applications.
• Perform Android platform upgrades, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness of the framework and applications.
• Design and build Android apps, including Activities, Services, and UI components.
• Work with native components using JNI and NDK.
• Debug complex system‑level and application‑level issues.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and hardware teams for seamless integration.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Android compatibility standards and CTS requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in Android framework and AOSP development.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
