Android Developer – Mobile Application Engineer

About the role

Codewalla is seeking an Android Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality, scalable mobile applications for its global clients. You will work closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features and enhance existing Android applications.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services such as Firebase, Google Maps, and push notifications.
• Optimize application performance and ensure reliability across devices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality releases.
• Maintain clean, testable, and maintainable codebases following best practices.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience building production‑grade, scalable Android applications.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, Android Profiler, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, MVP, VIPER).
• Hands‑on experience with SQLite, offline storage solutions, and mobile data management.
