Airframe Business Analyst – 3DX Collab

About the role

Airframe Business Analyst – 3DX Collab will join the Aerostructures Data Management Team within Airbus Group India. The role focuses on supporting the Airframe Digital Twin initiative by analysing current processes, defining improvements and ensuring the new 3DX Collab tools meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Represent business stakeholders to evaluate 3DX Collab capabilities and lead end‑to‑end functional testing.
• Conduct As‑Is analysis of existing processes, identify pain points and design To‑Be solutions for tool adoption.
• Collaborate with process owners, activity owners and digital development teams to align processes with new toolsets.
• Support product quality management, knowledge‑based engineering and quality rule definition.
• Coordinate stakeholder communication, technical reviews and milestone tracking.
• Provide training, awareness and support for updated 3DX Collab procedures.
• Contribute to process improvement proposals and documentation of lessons learned.
• Assist in digitisation and automation initiatives related to the Airframe domain.

Required profile

• Experience working with business and digital development teams in an engineering environment.
• Ability to perform As‑Is analysis, propose To‑Be processes and support functional testing.
• Familiarity with Airbus engineering methods and the Configured Digital Mock‑up process.
• Strong analytical mindset and proactive approach to process improvement.

Required skills

• 3DExperience suite – Catia, ENOVIA, 3DSwym.
• Airbus PASS SSI and VPM (end‑user level).
• Knowledge of Airbus methods and processes for digital mock‑up.
• Basic automation and data‑analytics concepts for gap analysis.
