AI Application Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Application Engineer to design and deliver AI‑powered applications, agents and copilots for enterprise platforms, especially SAP. The role combines software development, generative AI expertise and integration with cloud and on‑premise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI agents, RAG architectures and vector‑search capabilities using LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini or Llama.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs and micro‑services on Azure, AWS or GCP, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AI solutions with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, ERP data sources and other enterprise applications.
• Implement responsible AI practices, governance controls and security/compliance standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects and business stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end AI use cases.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js or Java.
• Hands‑on experience with large language models and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with vector databases and AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Understanding of REST APIs, micro‑services and enterprise integration patterns.
