Advanced Engineer – Quality Engineering (Level II)

About the role

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer – Quality Engineering (Level II) to lead testing initiatives for complex investment platforms. You will design test strategies, automate validation, and ensure high‑quality releases across our global footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for complex features and systems.
• Lead risk assessments to identify critical testing areas and define testing depth.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning to ensure testability.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, performance, and security tests.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman.
• Create automated scripts for UI, API, and backend services and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish and improve quality standards, metrics, and best practices, performing root‑cause analysis for defects.
• Mentor junior SQA analysts and collaborate with developers and product owners to resolve issues early.
• Communicate test progress, risks, and results to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or test engineering.
• Proven experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript or Java.
• Hands‑on experience testing in Agile/Scrum environments.
