Administration & Employee Relations Manager (AM/DM)

About the role

Castrol is seeking an Administration & Employee Relations Manager (AM/DM) to support the HR head at its Silvassa plant and housing colony. This role combines plant‑level administration, employee welfare, statutory compliance and liaison with external authorities, ensuring smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee plant administration functions including transportation, horticulture, housekeeping, telephones, and guest house operations.
• Manage vehicle fleet, stationery supplies, and contractor performance.
• Supervise canteen administration and security services, ensuring hygiene and compliance with SOPs.
• Coordinate payroll processing and act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle employee welfare initiatives, statutory compliance, and community development activities.
• Liaise with police, local administration, electricity, fire department and other authorities as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant or large‑scale administration and HR support.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and employee welfare practices.
• Excellent coordination skills with ability to manage multiple contractors and service providers.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
