Accounts Payable Specialist (Accountant II)

About the role

Join the Accounting team at Bluevine as an Accounts Payable Specialist (Accountant II). You will process invoices, reconcile vendor inquiries, handle expense reimbursements, and document journal entries while helping improve processes and drive efficiencies in a fast‑growing FinTech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prioritize invoices according to payment terms and ensure correct coding in the accounting system.
• Maintain vendor relationships by resolving billing inquiries and reconciling vendor statements.
• Process outgoing payments to vendors and manage 1099 maintenance.
• Approve employee expense reimbursement reports and gather receipts for corporate credit cards.
• Assist with month‑end closing and maintain accurate files and documentation.
• Support ad‑hoc accounting duties as needed.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 4 years of accounts payable experience.
• CA Inter/Immediate/Final qualified.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Familiarity with Bill.com.
• Knowledge of Expensify.
• Understanding of TripActions.
